DesiredSkills & Qualifications
- Current, active Washington state license in School Psychology is essential
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or an equivalent field
- Prior work in school settings highly preferred
- Experience supporting students at a range of grade levels (elementary to high school)
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication abilities for effective partnerships with staff, students, and families
- Organized, flexible, and committed to student growth
- Deliver psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Work closely with educators to develop and support effective interventions for individual students and groups
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to staff and families
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards in school psychology practice
This is a contract, in-person role beginning August 31, 2026, and concluding June 16, 2027. Telepractice (virtual/VOCO) arrangements will not be considered. Final caseload details will be determined, and the role may span all K-12 grade levels within the district.
