Salary: $1,000 per credit*

Reports To: Dean of Social Sciences & Humanities
Music Adjunct Faculty will teach OC’s various Music History, Theory, Fundamentals, and Appreciation classes. Teaching will be in person and remotely as circumstances demand.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned Music courses according to the scheduled timetable and discipline/course outline guidelines.
- Prepare instructional materials, grade assignments, and maintain accurate student records.
- Submit required documents and records to the division office as requested.
- Be available to teach face‑to‑face instruction at the Bremerton, Shelton, and Poulsbo campuses and remotely as needed.
- Master's degree in Music (or Music Education) required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Music to adults.
- College teaching experience preferred.
- Graduate level knowledge of Music History, Appreciation, and Theory.
- Ability to teach college‑level Music courses to a diverse student population, including students whose native language is not English.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, in classroom and professional settings.
- Ability to incorporate technology into instruction across face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities.
