Job Title: Head Start Teacher Aide Department: Early Learning & Family Services Fixed Hourly Wage: $20.00 Position Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Monday- Friday Direct Supervisor: Child Development Site Supervisor Work Environment: Works with young children in a classroom setting, playgrounds, and on learning trips. May require travel to other Head Start sites.

This position assists the HS Teacher in facilitating learning for 3-5 year old children in the Head Start classroom using an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum which promotes routines, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the program.

Education:
CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) or an Early Childhood Education General Certificate plus an additional 10 credits of Early Childhood coursework
AA in Early Childhood Education
