Engineering Technician

Duties

You will be directly responsible for the planning, document preparing, control, execution, and certification of testing of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical systems on naval nuclear and nonnuclear vessels undergoing work by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

You will provide technical engineering solutions for testing, control of ships conditions, transfer of ships systems operation and work controls for all non-nuclear systems.

You will obtain and maintain the status of all in process and upcoming production work and test.

You will direct execution of authorized procedures as necessary to establish system conditions required for work, maintenance and testing.

You will provide day-to-day management, control, and direction of the non-nuclear work control and test program.

You will approve, monitor and provide technical oversight during test evolutions and ensure procedural compliance is followed.
