Supervisory Mechanical Engineer

Duties

You will effectively coordinate with Nuclear Chief Test Engineers for matters involving interface testing with systems under their cognizance and with Ship's Force with respect to test readiness and support of shipboard testing.

You will advise higher level managers on problems involving the relationship of the work of the function to boarder shipyard programs and the effect on those programs

You will be directly responsible and accountable for the technical adequacy, proper sequencing and effective execution of a multi-million-dollar test program involving all non-nuclear electrical and mechanical systems.

You will execute significant projects representing an important segment of the agency's operating programs, or affecting the welfare of the public and/or the sustainability of natural resources and the environment.

You will establish priorities and monitor work assigned making adjustments as determined necessary.
