OPEN TO RELOCATION - IMMEDIATE NEED
We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler with strong experience in mechanical/plumbing systems, Revit MEP, and coordination-driven construction environments.
This role is ideal for someone who understands constructibility — not just design intent.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop detailed, fabrication-level BIM models for plumbing, hydronic piping, and wet-side HVAC systems
- Produce coordinated shop drawings ready for field installation
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
- Set up projects from scratch, including grids, levels, worksets, views, and sheets
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to resolve coordination issues
- Participate in multi-trade coordination meetings and provide constructible solutions
- Maintain QA/QC standards throughout modeling and documentation phases
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of BIM modeling experience within mechanical/plumbing construction
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (family creation, templates, advanced tools)
Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows
Understanding of mechanical systems, including plumbing, hydronic piping, pumps, valves, and fixtures
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
Experience creating fabrication/shop-level drawings strongly preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred:
Mechanical drafting/engineering education background
Autodesk certifications
AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience
This is a strong opportunity with a growing team working on complex commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
