Job Summary

The Forensic Program Lead works as part of a team to provide services to clients who are Trueblood Class Members. This position supports the FPATH (Forensic Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) and FHARPS (Forensic Housing and Recovery through Peer Services) staff in outpatient and community settings.

The Forensics Program Lead supports the FHARPS and FPATH teams through collaborative care coordination and targeted outreach. In partnership with other Forensic team members and leadership, the Program Lead contributes to case management needs and will carry a small, diverse caseload from both programs.

General Summary of Duties
  • Facilitate team meetings to ensure that each client’s progress is systematically reviewed and that team members share significant updates that impact client care.
  • Support Forensics Supervisor in problem-solving scheduling, training, and addressing unexpected challenges in client care.
  • Provide coaching to other team members on strengths-based engagement strategies and proactive interventions for clients.
  • Serve as a supportive safe second for dual outreaches when clinically indicated or upon request by the manager or forensic team members.
  • Advise manager of operational needs such as supplies or equipment.
  • Attend community-based meetings and functions as the point of contact for our Forensic Programs.
  • Provide presentations and programmatic training for team and as requested outside community partners in collaboration with the Forensic Programs Outreach and Engagement Specialist.
  • Provide care coordination services for an assigned group of clients. Provide direct services such as individual, group, family counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to assigned clients.
    • Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans, crisis intervention, and behavioral health services.
    • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, community agencies, and external partners to support client care and advocacy.
    • Connect clients with resources, promote independence and wellness, and maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.

Minimum Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, or other behavioral health field.

Experience/Skills
  • Two years of Trueblood Program experience.
  • This position requires driving clients in agency vehicles and personal vehicles on behalf of the agency. The incumbent must meet all agency driving requirements, including being at least 21 years old, having been licensed for a minimum of three years, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver’s license in the state of Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation.
