Position: SHEET METAL MECHANIC with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will manufacture, modify, repair, assemble, identify, remove, install, verify, inspect, write reports, groom, test, and document sheet metal articles, equipment and systems made with ferrous and nonferrous materials.
* You will remove material by drawing sketches and using them with plans, tags, Material Delivery Records, and notches or marks to identify and control items and their positions and attitudes of installation.
* You will apply knowledge of descriptive geometry and information from sketches, plans, engineering instructions, process instructions, and orders to manufacture, modify, assemble, and repair furniture, ventilation systems, and other metal articles.
* You will test and orifice sheet metal systems according to design specifications, and document and verify the results of the test. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
