Supervisory Nuclear Engineer

Duties

You will provide first line supervision for nuclear engineers and technicians assigned to the branch.

You will maintain technical authority and responsibility for the engineering work of the branch.

You will review and approve detailed written technical direction to accomplish nuclear work from cradle to grave.

You will evaluate the qualification, knowledge, skills and abilities of branch employees to ensure continuous learning and development.

You will perform and assure branch self-assessments to track branch metrics relating to quality, timeliness, areas of continuous improvement needed.

You will ensure safety and security processes for the branch and demonstrate high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.

You will engage with other areas in the Command to coordinate and support critical nuclear operation trainings and provide supervisory functions for these trainings.
