- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies, including but not limited to:
- Cardiac issues
* Respiratory distress
* Neurological events
* Gastrointestinal issues
* Musculoskeletal injuries - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment plan, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing., upon hire
- Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years, upon hire or
- Critical care experience, current within the last 2 years, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Bachelors Of Science Nursing and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 12 - months and
- Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 - months and
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 - months or
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 - months
The Bremerton Freestanding ED is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art free-standing emergency room. We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Pay Range$47.88 - $80.88 /hour
