The Dentist is responsible for screening, triaging, and providing clinical and laboratory dental care and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide dental care to all age groups in accordance with State guidelines
  • Provide education, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental services to patients
  • Work closely with the staff and community dental care providers in providing primary dental care and making outside referrals
  • Share after hours on-call responsibility with other providers
  • Be familiar with using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athena and Next Gen)
  • Monitor, and where applicable, oversee relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct reports.

Qualifications
  • Active Dentist License in Washington State (required)
  • Active DEA License or eligibility (required)
  • Active CPR Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

With multiple locations and settings, PCHS’ work environment and physical demands vary greatly depending on the employee’s role. Essential job functions include: the employee is required to talk, hear, see, smell, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Starting Salary

$141,000 annually
