Responsibilities :
Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition commissary’s work, store, office and restroom areas. Duties involve a combination of the following:
Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and waxing & polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, store shelves or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; minor maintenance; and cleaning lavatories, and restrooms.
Requirements :
Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Upon hire be able to successfully complete security application for a Common Access Card (CAC).
Hourly pay rate is $21.52
. This is a federal contract, as such employees receive a Health and Welfare (H & W) benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) per hour for the first 40 hours in a week. This is a temporary bargaining unit position covered under the OPEIU Local 4873 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The assignment is expected to run from now through approximately January 3, 2026, to support increased seasonal workload.
Employment may conclude at the end of this period unless extended based on operational needs.
