Facilities Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate facility security systems for access control, intrusion detection, and electronic surveillance
• Operate Avigilon in support of facility operations and security manager directed investigations
• Monitor, test, and report status of security systems to the Command Security Manager
• Conduct semi-annual tests per requirements
• Respond, assess, troubleshoot, repair security system components as needed
• Coordinate with security managers, network engineers, and security specialists as required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years additional education and/or related experience
• Basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
• Mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair
• General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
• Level 2: 2 years additional education and/or related experience
• Level 3: 4 years additional education and/or related experience
• Level 4: 6 years additional education and/or related experience

Demonstrates expertise in managing and operating facility security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and electronic surveillance. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing security system components while ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
