Job Type: Non‑exempt

Compensation: $25.77 – $34.45 per hour

Work Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs)

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with every Ability One‑qualified employee throughout their life cycle to ensure they are thriving and productive, including obtaining disability documentation, developing accommodation plans, and conducting regular check‑ins.
  • Partner with supervisors to implement safety considerations, job accommodations, and federal Ability One reporting.
  • Travel to supported Tessera worksites for approximately two weeks each quarter to provide direct vocational support, training, consultation, employee engagement, and operational partnership.
  • Promote Tessera’s purpose and educate site leadership on disability awareness and ADA requirements.
  • Maintain a caseload of 70‑100 employees, ensuring appropriate job customization, individualization, and accommodation provision.
  • Provide job coaching, career discussions with Career Advisors, and support for upward or outward mobility.
  • Collaborate with HR, Safety, Workers’ Comp, and medical teams to facilitate return‑to‑work accommodations for injured employees.
  • Review and assess disability documentation for applicants and current employees for Ability One qualification; maintain federal reports and case notes in Workday.
  • Perform administrative duties such as obtaining new disability documents, preparing audit reviews, and updating the Source America portal.
  • Assist employees in crisis, suicide prevention, and safety planning; connect them to internal resources (HR, Benefits, Security, CES, etc.).
  • Conduct regular check‑ins (first 30/60/90 days, then twice annually), documenting in Workday, and track safety and career mobility topics.
  • Respond to and follow up on accommodation requests in a timely manner, providing ADA packets and coordinating with providers.
  • Coordinate veteran resources, external job coaches, and recruiting functions to support workforce goals.
  • Create and deliver quarterly trainings on Disability Awareness, ADA law, accommodations, mental health, and related topics.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Human Services preferred.
  • At least one year of vocational support experience required.
  • Experience in workplace accommodations and community support services preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within the first six months.
  • Valid state driver’s license; able to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
  • Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL‑ driver’s license, U.S. passport, or military .
  • Background check and E‑Verify will be conducted for this position.
