CDL Driver

Position Overview

CDL Driver  role ensures safety, timely delivery of building materials, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards to support operational efficiency and customer relationships.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory accuracy.
• Ensure secure, damage‑free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards.
• Collaborate with customers for material placement and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Load and unload materials with forklifts or manually, handling up to 100 lbs.
• Work in varied weather and noisy environments, reading job‑related documents in English.

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Physical ability to work long hours driving and handling materials.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Pass background checks, drug tests, E‑Verify, and FMCSA clearinghouse verification.
• 18 years of age (21 for interstate/hazmat) and English communication proficiency.

• Hazmat endorsement.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems.
• Multilingual abilities.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDLA or CDLB) with Air Brakes endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Forklift certification (preferred).
• FMCSA registration.

• Long hours, fast‑paced schedules, and varying weather conditions within a 200‑mile radius—no overnight stays.
• Safe, timely deliveries, on‑site coordination, and occasional yard support.
• Adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

• Hourly base salary $25.87–$32.93, depending on location, education, training, and experience.
• Eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, and fuel/reimbursement programs, as outlined in the company travel policy.
