ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of warehousing duties. The work involves: verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, segregating or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, removing material from storage and preparing it for stocking. May operate hand or power trucks; forklift during warehousing duties.
RequirementsPhysical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Upon hire, be able to successfully complete a security application for a Common Access Card (CAC).
Pay & BenefitsHourly pay rate: $20.96
. This is a federal contract; employees receive a Health and Welfare benefit in accordance with the Service Contract Act per hour for the first 40 hours in a week.
This is a temporary bargaining unit position covered under the OPEIU Local 4873 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The assignment is expected to run from now through approximately January 3, 2026, to support increased seasonal workload. Employment may conclude at the end of this period unless extended based on operational needs.
