A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Administrative Assistant performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. Welcomes and interacts with internal and external clients, vendors, and visitors. Duties include administrative tasks such as photocopying, compiling records, running reports, filing, posting information, and distributing mail. Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems. This position reports to the HR Manager.

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5
PMThis is an on-site administrative hourly position.
Starting pay range (LG33): **$17.50 - $21.92 - $27.40

Essential Functions:
Administrative and clerical:
Answering phones, managing emails and mail, filing documents, preparing memos, and maintaining office equipment. Key duties include scheduling, data entry, filing, and preparing documents and preparing slides for location presentations.
Customer service:
Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and serving as the initial point of contact. Communicates and coordinates with appropriate personnel for site visits. Handles all front desk activities for the front office.
Coordination:
Scheduling meetings and appointments, managing calendar for visitors, and coordinating miscellaneous arrangements for leadership staff if needed. Coordinates location events, such as town hall meetings, employee engagement events, including ordering of brand merchandise, and meal planning. May assists HR team with focused events such as hiring events and community involvement/outreach activities.
Office management:
Ordering and stocking supplies, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating office maintenance and repairs.
Support:
Providing administrative assistance to departments or staff, managing internal communications. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions. All other duties as assigned/directed.
May occasionally be required to work outside of normal business hours.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
High School Diploma + 1 year of experience in an office environment, with customer service experience
Clerical experience and knowledge of Microsoft products
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with office equipment like printers, copiers, audio/visual equipment (video presentations), etc.
Ability to handle confidential information
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Working Environment and Physical Efforts Work is typically performed in an office setting; however, the incumbent may be required to go into the production or shipping/receiving areas. While visiting the manufacturing areas of the plant, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings.
The environment is fast-paced and demanding most of the time.
