** Top Automotive Mechanic*
* ** Pay:** $23-$25/hour + Commission
** OR** $35-$40/hour Flat Rate (based on experience)
** Position Summary*
* We are seeking an experienced and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, with the ability to perform a wide range of automotive services independently. Candidates must possess their own mechanic tools and be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
** Responsibilities*
* + Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance.
+ Diagnose and repair brake systems, including pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic components.
+ Perform wheel alignments and suspension adjustments.
+ Install, balance, and repair tires.
+ Test, replace, and service batteries and charging systems.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
+ Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and HVAC repairs.
+ Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately.
+ Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
+ Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
** Qualifications*
* + Minimum 3+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
+
Experience with diagnostics, brake repair, alignments, tire services, and general automotive repair.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
+ Must provide and maintain own mechanic tools.
+ ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
