Brenham ISD is seeking a passionate and skilled Choir Director to lead a proud, historic choral program rooted in tradition and community support. Located in Brenham, Texas — the Home of Blue Bell Ice Cream — this position offers the opportunity to build on a strong foundation within a dynamic, collaborative fine arts team

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
• Experience in secondary choral education preferred
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

• Directing and managing the middle school and junior high school choral program (grades 5-8), including multiple ensembles and performances
• Planning and delivering TEKS-aligned, differentiated instruction
• Coordinating UIL participation, concerts, and community events
• Collaborating with other fine arts staff and feeder campuses
• Supporting student growth, leadership, and musical development
