Duties Continued from Summary... supplemental training courses utilizing approved curriculum IAW Air Education and Training Command (AETC) instructions in support of the Faculty Development Flight's mission.
**************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** DUTIES:
* Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced technical/administrative levels of faculty development instruction courses.
* Researches, develops, revises and recommends updates to faculty development course materials in accordance with established learning objectives.
* Plans, develops, executes, and evaluates a comprehensive and effective training program.
* Maintains professional and technical proficiency and accomplishes difficult, but well precedented special projects related to specialty area, to include staff surveillance visits to various training activities and oversight of the Master Instructor program while serving as a mentor to technical training instructors. * Position encompasses both resident and mobile training worldwide.
* Position may require travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY.
* May be required to work on special projects as directed by the supervisor.
* This position has been identified as Technical Training Essential.
* Position has been identified as a faculty member of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC).
* Minimum degree requirement of an Associate's Degree from CCAF or a regionally or nationally accredited postsecondary institution in the discipline or in combination with appropriate work experience in faculty development, (continued) * (Continued) instructional systems designed, and the methods and techniques of instruction.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance w/ access to SCI.
* This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee
S must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. (cont). * (Cont). Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

Section 9315 of 10 USC directs the commander of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to comply with standards established by the Secretary of Education to confer associate degrees upon enlisted members who have completed the requirements for the prescribed programs of study. To comply with this directive, all faculty members of the Community College of the Air Force must meet minimum educational requirements as prescribed by the accrediting body Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), i.e. all teachers must hold at least an associate's degree in order for the school to meet accreditation criteria.
