Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate.

• Instructional Strategies – plan, develop, and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district's instructional program, including accommodations for student differences and English language learners, and coordination with special education teachers as per IEP guidelines.
• Student Growth and Development – help students analyze and improve study methods, conduct assessment, provide remediation, and sponsor extracurricular activities.
• Classroom Management and Organization – create conducive learning environment, manage student behavior.
• Communication – establish and maintain effective open communication with students, parents, teachers, and administrators; participate in staff professional development activities.
• Professional Growth and Development – participate in staff development activities, comply with regulations, attend faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Conserve electricity as outlined in the district’s energy management plan.
