Training Instructor; Instructional Methods Security Clearance

Position: TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS) with Security Clearance
Duties
* Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced technical/administrative levels of faculty development instruction courses.
* Researches, develops, revises and recommends updates to faculty development course materials in accordance with established learning objectives.
* Plans, develops, executes, and evaluates a comprehensive and effective training program.
* Maintains professional and technical proficiency and accomplishes difficult, but well precedented special projects related to specialty area, to include staff surveillance visits to various training activities and oversight of the Master Instructor program while serving as a mentor to technical training instructors. * Minimum degree requirement of an Associate's Degree from CCAF or a regionally or nationally accredited postsecondary institution in the discipline or in combination with appropriate work experience in faculty (con't) * (Con't) development, instructional systems designed, and the methods and techniques of instruction
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with access to SCI
* This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. (con't) * (Con't) Incumbent of this position is subject to the possibility of a random drug test Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, to include the Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR) for the GS-1712, Training Instruction series.

BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
This is a Community College Air Force position (CCAF) FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF THE AIR FORCE GS-1712 POSITIONS :
Section 9315 of 10 USC directs the commander of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to comply with standards established by the Secretary of Education to confer associate degrees upon enlisted members who have completed the requirements for the prescribed programs of study. To comply with this directive, all faculty members of the Community College of the Air Force must meet minimum educational requirements as prescribed by the accrediting body Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), i.e. all teachers must hold at least an associate's degree in order for the school to meet accreditation criteria.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); supervising or administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc.,

and evaluation of training results; and work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular…
