InternshipDescription:
- Preparing tax returns from start to finish, such as Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estate, Gift, Trust, Payroll, Forms W-2 and 1099, Texas Franchise, and various other state returns.
- Collaborating with associates, partners, and clients gaining exposure to a variety of industries.
- Learning various tax programs and tax software.
- Reviewing data, identifying and resolving technical tax issues, and assisting in the review of tax preparations.
- Adjusting client-prepared books to ensure accuracy of related tax returns.
- Identifying, researching, and reviewing various tax issues and communicating that information to the team.
- Executing additional assigned projects.

Qualifications:
- Completion of Intermediates I and II courses prior to the internship.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 with a minimum of 3.0 in accounting classes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to proofread for accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
