Job Description
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Monday - Thursday
8:30 pm - 7:00 am
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace faulty components
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for maintenance and repairs
- Conduct functional testing to ensure equipment operates efficiently after service
- Adjust, calibrate, clean, and lubricate machinery to maintain optimal performance
- Install and relocate machinery and equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and longevity
- Troubleshoot electrohydraulic press systems and other complex machinery
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical background with the ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience with PLCs, control systems, and hydraulic systems preferred
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, reaching, and crawling
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and using required protective equipment
