Valmont Industries - 2551 Valmont Drive - Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings to determine parts needed for pole assemblies;
Weld components using GMAW process to tack weld and assemble pole shafts;
Position shafts on turners and move components using jib crane to assemble pole assemblies;
Utilize measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, levels, squares, angle finders) to ensure correct dimensions;
Operate grinders, torches, and drills to finish and assemble components
