Lead Plastic Injection Molding

Mechanical Rubber Texas is looking for an experienced Lead Plastic Injection Molding Operator who can run machines, solve problems on the floor, and help lead a small team. This is a working lead position — you'll be hands-on with setups, mold changes, and troubleshooting while keeping production moving and quality on point.

Location:

Brenham, TX

Hours:

7:00 am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. One shift facility Pay:
Starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Set up and run plastic injection molding machines
• Perform mold changes, startups, and process adjustments
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, material, and part issues
• Lead and support operators during daily production
• Make sure parts meet quality requirements
• Watch cycle times, scrap, and overall production flow
• Train operators on proper setup, operation, and safety
• Work with maintenance and supervisors to fix issues fast
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Complete basic production and quality paperwork

• 5+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experience
• Previous lead experience or someone ready to step into a lead role
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical ability
• Comfortable working on the floor and leading by example
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Good communication and a team-first attitude
• Rubber or elastomer molding experience
• Preventive maintenance experience
