CNC Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Load materials and properly position parts in machines

• Select and change tooling, inserts, and fixtures as needed

• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain required specifications

• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy

• Monitor machines throughout production and troubleshoot machining issues

• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized

• Follow all company quality and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC lathe machining experience required

• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience using precision measuring tools

• Understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and safety mindset

• CNC programming or editing experience is a plus
