Position Details

  1:45 PM - 10:15 PM
• Weekends Required (at least 2 per month)
• Long-Term Contract
• Pay: $40+/hr (local and travelers welcome to apply)

What You'll Do

As an LVN, you'll provide compassionate nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those who may be medically fragile or have behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor vital signs and overall health status
• Perform skilled nursing procedures, including:
  • Trach care
  • Wound care
  • G-Tube/J-Tube care
  • Respiratory treatments
• Collect laboratory specimens and conduct health screenings
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate patient outcomes
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff members

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN License (or Compact License)
• Minimum 2 year of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in long-term care, IDD, behavioral health, or similar settings is a preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
