Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Contract Assignment

Cornerstone Medical is seeking dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a rewarding contract opportunity at a State Supported Living Center in Brenham TX, a specialized facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Openings: 10 LVNs
• 6 month contract 40 hours per week
• Shift: 5:45am-2:15pm
• 1: 45pm-10:15pm
• 9: 45pm-6:15am
• Mandatory Orientation 8am-5pm for 2 weeks
• Work 3 weekends out of the month
• Pay Rate: $40.00/hr for any shift worked during the week | $41.50/hr for any shift worked during the weekend

Under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager, the LVN will provide direct patient care and clinical support in a structured, team-based environment.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Provide patient education regarding medications and care plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
• Support residents with complex medical needs
• Perform computer-based charting (training provided)
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

• Current Texas LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• TB documentation
• Ability to pass:
  • Urine drug screen
  • Background check
  • FBI fingerprinting
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year LVN experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Experience in direct patient care settings
