Position Summary
Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators. The role involves maintaining and improving outdoor landscaping throughout the year, including mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and ensuring the area remains attractive, clean, and safe.
What you’ll do- Mow, trim, and prune lawns, shrubs, bushes, trees, and flowers year-round.
- Perform grounds maintenance on the parking lot, exterior building, and surrounding areas to provide a clean and welcoming environment.
- Work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of landscaping and exterior cleaning.
- Adhere to safety, security, and integrity standards, ensuring compliance with corporate, local, federal, and state regulations.
- Travel may be necessary to perform one or more essential functions.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving record and MVR clearance.
- Successful completion of the driver’s road test for the combination truck and trailer that will be operated.
- Ability to obtain required licensing/endorsements for operating a commercial motor vehicle when required.
- Effective communication skills in person and via telecommunications equipment.
- Ability to present information to small or large groups and individuals.
- Adherence to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Safely operate a combination motor vehicle weighing 10,000‑26,000 lbs, requiring valid driver’s license or certification.
- Visual inspection and maintenance of daily equipment.
- Visually verify and read information in small print.
- Create documents and reports using written instrument or electronic device.
- Daily physical work including moving, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Competitive hourly wage $19.00–$35.00 with performance‑based bonus awards. Health benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage.
