Hours:

3–6 days per week, typically afternoon/evening shifts from around 1:00pm Our client is a busy artisan wholesale bakery supplying handmade breads, pastries and viennoiserie to restaurants, hotels and cafés across London. We are looking for an experienced Artisan Baker with strong commercial experience in traditional, handmade baking. Key Requirements Minimum 4 years' commercial artisan baking experience Strong experience producing sourdough, ciabatta, baguettes, brioche and yeasted breads Excellent hand scaling and hand shaping skills Experience managing fermentation and proving Commercial experience using deck and rack ovens Experience producing croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins and Danish pastries Able to manage the full baking process from mixing through to finished product Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergens Reliable, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a busy production environment Important:
This is a fully handmade artisan bakery. The role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is primarily industrial, automated, supermarket/bake-off or pastry-only. Candidates must also be physically able to safely load and unload all five decks of a commercial deck oven, including the top deck.
