Master Technician

Location: Willesden

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computerized vehicle systems

* Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems

* Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and technical manuals to identify issues accurately

* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance services

* Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance

* Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices

* Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

* Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers

* Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and manufacturer updates

Qualifications

* 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience

* Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics

* Ability to operate diagnostic software and shop equipment

* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

* Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems

* Leadership or shop foreman experience

* German vehicle experience2

* Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
