£28,594.80 - £35,100 per year depending on experience. (£12.22 - £15 per hour)

Working hours 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour paid lunch break.

Local Building and Refurbishment Company based in Rainham Essex requires a Labourer who must be able to drive to work with an existing team.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support our site teams across various refurbishment and construction projects. The role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring materials and equipment are organised and ready for use.

• Assist tradespeople on-site (carpenters, bricklayers, decorators, plumbers, etc.)
• Prepare and maintain work areas
• Move materials and equipment around site
• Basic demolition and site clearance
• General cleaning and ensuring sites are tidy and safe
• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a construction or refurbishment environment (preferred)
• CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
• Good understanding of health and safety on site
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
• Have or be able to pass a DBS check.

• Experience driving vans or light commercial vehicles
• Basic knowledge of construction materials
• First Aid at Work certificate
