Senior Tax Accountant

Purk & Associates, PC, a fast growing, entrepreneurial St. Louis-based CPA firm, is searching for an experienced CPA to add to their tax department. This position requires public accounting experience, working with Entrepreneurs in the areas of a Tax Compliance, Reporting, Planning, Research and Accounting. The ideal candidate would prepare and review corporate and individual returns. The firm’s software included CCH Axcess, Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

• A high motivation for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• CPA with 2-3 years of tax accounting and reporting experience
• Solid understanding of federal, state and local tax reporting within the Internal Revenue Code for all types of Corporate entities and individual returns.
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess software and research or similar electronic automated systems
