Senior Accountant – Foundations & Investments

* Senior Accountant
* to join our Finance team and play a key role supporting our Foundations and Advancement programs.

This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys meaningful work, complex financial analysis, and partnering with mission-driven leaders.
* What You'll Do
** Manage accounting for donations, contributions, endowments, and foundation-related activities
* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports
* Analyze investment and debt statements and maintain related accounting records
* Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, Form 990 reporting, and year-end processes
* Research and resolve account discrepancies while improving accounting processes
* Collaborate with leaders across the organization and mentor team members
* What We're Looking For
** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Experience with donations, foundations, endowments, investments, or debt accounting strongly preferred
* Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
* Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
* Healthcare, nonprofit, senior living, or foundation accounting experience is a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits:
