We are ARCO, a family of construction companies and we are looking for an Intern to support our IT and Cybersecurity teams in the Brentwood, MO office.

As an IT Intern you will assist all areas of the Technology department including responding to support tickets, maintaining technical documentation, and assisting with account creation. You will also be responsible for researching email threats, learning how to analyze logs to identify threats, and working closely with our infrastructure team to remediate issues detected within our environment.

The internship program is designed to provide hands‑on experience in an enterprise environment and develop the soft skills necessary for career success. You can work part‑time during the school year while attending college classes, or full‑time during the summer.

• Respond and resolve user support IT requests
• Maintain technical documentation of systems and software programs
• Deploy new hardware, software, and upgrade existing installations
• Research solutions to new and existing problems
• Participate in implementing IT‑based projects
• Provision iOS and Android mobile devices
• Inventory assets
• Handle Tier 1 support incidents and requests through Service Now
• Image workstations
• Assist with account creation
• Promote and maintain the security awareness training program
• Respond to cyber incidents, performing routine analysis using security tools
• Review tickets and emails for suspicious content to determine if they are malicious
• Utilize tools and systems dashboards to generate reports and improve security posture
• Provide general support to aid in completion of department tasks, projects, and programs
• Participate in planning and deploying security incident response training exercises

• Currently enrolled in a university or technical program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Completed or currently enrolled in a server or networking class
• Dependable, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and proofreading skills
• Able to work and communicate effectively with other company personnel
• Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
• Can handle multiple priorities and operate efficiently and effectively with strong documentation and communication skills
• Available to work part‑time to full‑time hours out of the Brentwood, MO office
