This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Backed by the strength of ASPEQ Heating Group and Marley Engineered Products, we offer a wide range of standard and customized products through leading brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will provide technical assistance, sales support, sales follow‑up, and compelling quotations to our external customers. In addition, this position will support Quality and Process improvements, as well as assist other business functions when technical expertise is required.
What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)- Customer Engagement and Support
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Call on management representatives such as engineers, architects, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and attempt to convince prospective clients of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.
- Work with factory direct or outside sales representatives on the preparation and/or presentation of pricing, technical information, proposals and related documents for the purpose of obtaining customer purchase orders.
- Manage assigned product lines, geographic region, OEM or key accounts as defined by sales management.
- Perform quoting activity for customers.
- Technical Advice and Training
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or establish pricing of the proposed equipment or services.
- Provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical training to field sales personnel.
- Be product expert and continually look to enhance the company’s products.
- Recommend solutions, designs, alterations or application of company’s products or services to satisfy the needs of the customer in keeping with company objectives.
- Liaison between sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality and production control on all issues regarding the customer’s placement of or intent to place purchase orders.
- Report competitive or commercial issues relating to company’s products or services to management.
- Present the company, to outside agencies, in a manner consistent with the standards of the company.
- Participate in all other duties as assigned that relate to the overall goals of the department or organization.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a technical sales or support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and opportunities, and make data‑driven decisions.
