SCOPE OF POSITION: Enjoy up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care and directs the staff to follow the resident plan of care as determined by the Head Nurse.

• We are committed to providing preventative and restorative care to all residents and clients here at Rockingham County.
• Support residents to feel safe, comfortable, and supported in all aspects of their lives, including physical, emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual well-being.
• The LPN supervises, assigns, and evaluates the work performance of LNA’s on the unit assigned and identifies educational opportunities.
• Perform and sign drug counts at the change of shift, assess, identify, and report changes in resident status.
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of care related to admissions, transfers, or discharges.
• Follow established safety and infection control policies/procedures and oversee all documentation/reporting in accordance with Rockingham County policy standards and State/Federal requirements.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unencumbered New Hampshire LPN license.
• Three (3) years of Long Term Care (or equivalent) experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of work and experience will be considered.
• CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• 2nd Shift: $4.00/hour
• 3rd Shift: $5.00/hour
• Weekend Premium: $2.00/hour
