Registered Nurse; RN - Per Diem

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides care and directs the staff to follow the resident plan of care as determined by the Unit Manager.

We are committed to providing preventative and restorative care to all residents and clients here at Rockingham County. We want our residents to feel safe, comfortable, and supported in all aspects of their lives to include not only physical, but also emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual well-being. Our RN’s are responsible for following the resident plan of care to include administering medications/treatments and keeping detailed documentation in accordance with Rockingham County policies and State/Federal requirements.

Further, they transcribe and carry out medical orders, assess and identify any change in resident status, and, as part of our team-oriented environment, keep open communication with the Unit Manager/Nursing Supervisors regarding significant issues; i.e. change in resident’s condition, environment, personnel, or safety concerns.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Hampshire RN license.
• 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
• CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• 2nd Shift: $4.00/hour
• 3rd Shift: $5.00/hour
• Weekend Premium: $2.00/hour

Mandatory post offer physical and drug testing for new hire. Criminal records check required.

This position is not eligible for Rockingham County benefits.
