Cubitek is looking to strengthen its quality department after the loss of a key team member. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards expected by customers in the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and analytical instrumentation industries.

Founded in 1993, Cubitek is a family-owned precision machine shop with more than 30 years of experience producing complex, tight-tolerance components. The company ships approximately 30,000 parts annually and is seeking a hands-on quality professional who can contribute immediately while helping support future growth.

In this role, you will:

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Program and operate CMM equipment to verify precision machined components
• Inspect aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and instrumentation parts
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
• Support AS9100 quality requirements and documentation processes
• Work closely with machinists, production personnel, and management to resolve quality issues
• Utilize manual inspection equipment when required
• Help maintain quality records and inspection reports
• Review STEP files, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department

• 5+ years of quality inspection or quality engineering experience in a machine shop environment
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Experience inspecting precision machined components
• Familiarity with CMM inspection processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Experience supporting AS9100 or similar quality systems

• PC-DMIS programming experience
• Hexagon CMM experience
• FARO Arm experience
• Engineering degree
• First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
• CAD/CAM experience
• Aerospace, defense, or semiconductor manufacturing experience

$90,000 – $140,000 per year (DOE)
