We’re looking for a Part‑Time Bookkeeper to help support our finance operations with a strong focus on carrier statement reconciliation and Quick Books Online vendor management. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a supportive but fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do 1. Carrier Statement Reconciliation- Download, track, and reconcile monthly carrier commission statements
- Match commission payments to internal production reports and CRM data
- Identify missing commissions, discrepancies, or variances
- Maintain accurate logs of received and outstanding commissions
- Enter new vendors into Quick Books Online and maintain existing vendor records
- Update vendor profiles (addresses, W‑9 details, payment terms)
- Code transactions to the proper accounts and classes
- Support AP/AR functions including invoice entry, payment prep, and light collections follow‑up
- Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Upload and organize financial documents in SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Help support month‑end close reporting and data exports
- Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and internal accounting tools
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online
- Experience reconciling statements (carrier or vendor statements a major plus)
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Experience with CRM or policy management systems
- Familiarity with commission workflows or insurance carriers
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
