Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support payment application, collections, and account reconciliation in a fast-paced, growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable handling a high volume of transactions while partnering cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities- Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts
- Perform daily cash application and cash management activities
- Research and resolve deductions, discrepancies, and chargebacks
- Follow up on past-due accounts and support collections efforts
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- 1–2 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Collections experience
- Understanding of the order-to-cash cycle
- Experience working with ERP systems (multiple systems a plus)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment
- Experience in a multi-entity or manufacturing environment preferred
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
