Key Responsibilities – Senior Accounting Consultant

• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting
• Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed

Qualifications – Senior Accounting Consultant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
