The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting and financial reporting for Intune including responsibility for financial reports, budgeting, and ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements, as well as accounting diligence and integration of all acquisitions. In this position, you will work with the Intune and Highland Ventures leadership teams to ensure all financial data is tracked in order to provide accurate reporting.
Essential Functions- Prepare, compile, and analyze financial statements and related financial reports for all clinic locations.
- Proper recording and control of patient payments and insurance claim data.
- Perform month end close responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist Intune team in the budgeting process.
- Review of budget vs. actual variances.
- Oversee all revenue billing processes.
- Oversee the accounts receivable process including reviews with clinic managers.
- Management and tracking of CAPEX spending.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation.
- Develop, document and implement best practices for healthcare accounting processes and internal controls.
- Manage revenue cycle process from patient encounter to payment.
- Assist in the financial and accounting due diligence and integration of clinic acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Ability to assess complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Skill in analyzing financial data and preparing appropriate related reports.
- Skill in relating organizational objectives to financial policies on costs, fees, credit, etc.
- Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ability to work creatively with management and department staff to achieve objectives.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from 4-year college or university
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare accounting
- Minimum of 3 years experience with a multi-site healthcare organization
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Position type and expected hours of workThis is a full-time position, on-site, Monday-Friday based in Brentwood, TN.
TravelMinimal travel expected. Travel to Springfield, IL offices expected periodically or other travel as needed.
