JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Estimator/Project Manager is the “first responsible leader” for the estimate and operations of the projects that you manage and reports to the Division Manager. This position is responsible for overall estimating, gross profit, risk management, change orders, account management, subcontractor management, and project execution.
This role is responsible for estimating and executing work sold. Once a project is sold and an executed agreement is received, this role will continue to manage the job and is responsible for collaborating with the field operations department and the client to ensure customer satisfaction. This role focuses on ensuring each project receives the proper materials and manpower to fulfil the job requirements while maintaining the estimated gross profits.
It requires a hard-working, humble leader who listens well, puts others first, communicates clearly, demonstrates strong organisational skills, and executes their work at the highest level while following the direction of the Division Manager.
Day-to-day activities include:- Foster a team-building environment and live out our core values.
- Maintains our software during the estimating and construction phase
- Receive, organize and prepare complete subcontractor and vendor proposals for each individual project.
- Prepare and submit proposals as necessary, with complete scopes of work
- Scheduling & communication of the schedule for successful jobs with others
- Manage materials through proper internal coordination to ensure materials are ready for installation
- Risk management mindset while managing the scope of work, client and overall schedule
- Coordinate and collaborate with the superintendent to ensure logistics, labor, materials and overall account is managed properly
- Maintain the company's estimated gross profit on each project
- Ensuring each project has clear subcontractor scopes of work, executed agreements in place for new work and change orders
$75,000 to $100,000
Benefits:Company standard benefits package, which can include insurance, vehicle/fuel allowance, unlimited PTO and a bonus program eligible for 20% of salary.
