Must‑Have Qualifications- 1–2+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven experience supporting commercial construction projects
- Local to the Greater Nashville / Middle TN area (no relocation assistance provided)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (no DUIs in the past 36 months)
- Ability to pass a background check
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will partner closely with the Project Manager to support the full construction lifecycle—from preconstruction through final completion. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of client satisfaction.
The APM collaborates with estimators, subcontractors, owners, and internal teams while contributing to the financial performance and overall success of each project.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight to ensure project profitability
- Serve as a point of contact for owners in coordination with the Project Manager
- Help develop scopes of work and subcontract exhibits
- Create and update CPM schedules to align with project needs
- Coordinate schedules with internal teams, subcontractors, owners, representatives, and designers
- Monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Over 100 years of construction excellence in Middle Tennessee
- Approximately $20M+ in annual volume with projects ranging from $50K–$5M
