Manager(PM) tojoinourgrowingteam.

Inthisposition,youwilloverseefinancialbudgets,coordinate subcontractors,andmanagetheconstructionprocesstomeetcontractualrequirements.

Youwillalsoorganizeschedules,track inventory,andoverseematerialordering.

Project Managersworkinmanyareasofdevelopmentandareresponsibleformanagingaprojectfromstarttofinish.

Theirdutiesincludeputtingtogetheraprojectschedule,hiring subcontractors,negotiating contracts,andobtainingpermits.

PMssuperviseconstruction,repair,anddesign-buildprojectsfrombeginningtoend,ensuringthatprojectsarecompletedwithintimeandbudgetaryconstraints.

Anunderstandingoftheconstructionbusinessandtheabilitytoworkunderdeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironmentareimportantforcareersuccess.

PMscontrolthetime,cost,andqualityofconstructionprojectsawardedbygovernment,commercial,andindustrialclients.

Theyplanandcoordinateallaspectsoftheconstructionprocess,includinghiringsubcontractorsandworkingwithengineers,architects,vendors,field personnel,logistics professionals,andotherstocompleteallaspectsoftheprojectswithinquality,time,andbudgetaryconstraints.

PMsarethereforeresponsibleforkeepingassignedprojectsontrack.

Theymustpossesstheabilitytonotonlymanagecurrentsituationsastheyarise,butalsoanticipatefuturechallengestoresolveissuesbeforetheybecomeproblems.

Duties:

• Performdailycoordinationwithallprojectsitesuperintendents,updatingPSPleadershiponconstructionprogressandsupportneededateachsite.
• Collectandorganizeallelectronicdocumentationforeachproject,includingpre-bid,bid,pre-construction,construction,andclose-out documents.
• Developpre-constructionsubmittalsforclientreview/approval,includingmaterialsubmittals,quality control,safety,risk management,anddesignqualitycontrolplans.
• Coordinatewithinternalandexternalagenciestodraftandeditworkplansandotherdesignpackages.
• Provideroutinecommunication,includinge-mailandtelephoniccontactwithvendors,subcontractors,customers,andPSPpersonnel.
• Utilize Procore,USArmy Corpsof Engineers Record Management System (RMS),andsimilarprojectmanagementsoftwaresystemstoinput,manage,andtrackprojectdata.
• Prepare,submit,andupdateprojectdata,reports,andsubmittalstomeetcontractualrequirementsandclient/leadership expectations,toinclude:
  • Filedailyreports.
  • Prepareandtransmitsubmittalsontimetomeetcontractualrequirements.
  • UpdatescheduleprogressandprovideappropriatemanagementtoolstotheclientandPSPleadership.
  • Trackclientreviewofsubmittalsandfollow-upasneeded.
  • Identifymaterialandequipmentrequirementsforprojectexecutionandcoordinatedeliverywhenneededtomeettimelines.
  • Prepareprojectbudgetswithschedulesofvalues.
    
    Develop,coordinate,andsubmitdraftandfinalinvoicesforpaymentpercontractrequirements.
  • Coordinateinspectionandoversightofthe Client’sQuality Assurance Representativetominimizeprojectdelays .
  • Develop,implement,and overseethe
    
    Site-Specific Safetyand Health Plan /Accident Prevention Planandotherapplicabledocumentstoensureprojectsareperformedinasafemanner .
  • Participate in,and/orassistwiththeconductofpre-bidsitevisits,site investigations,kick-off meetings,andpre-constructionmeetingsasrequired.
• Coordinateworkrequirementswithoneormore
  
  Assistant PMs.
• Performotheradministrativeandmanagementtasksasnecessarytodeliverprojectsontimeandonbudget.

Requirements,Skills,and

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinbusinessadministration,construction management,orarelatedfieldispreferred.
• Three years’experienceasaconstructionprojectmanagerorinasimilarpositioninconstructionmanagement.
• Abletomanageandmotivateemployees,teams,andsubcontractorstoaccomplishprojectgoals
• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
• Abletomulti-task,prioritize,andmanagetimeefficiently.
• Accurateandpreciseattentiontodetail.
