SD-WAN Engineer
Location:
Brentwood, TN (Onsite 4 days a week, candidates must be local to Nashville)
We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN Engineer with a strong background in Cisco routing, switching, and Cisco Viptela SD‑WAN technologies to support a large enterprise healthcare network environment. This role will focus on hands‑on troubleshooting, new site deployments, optimization, and some design support across a distributed CONUS network.
Responsibilities- Provide break/fix troubleshooting and operational support for Cisco Viptela and Fortinet SD‑WAN environments
- Engineer and support new SD‑WAN site deployments across multiple U.S. locations
- Assist with SD‑WAN architecture and design efforts as needed
- Perform optimization and performance tuning of SD‑WAN and WAN connectivity
- Support enterprise routing and switching functions within a healthcare network environment
- Work across underlay and overlay networking concepts, ensuring stable WAN/MPLS connectivity
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders; strong collaboration skills are essential
- 3–5 years of direct experience troubleshooting, engineering, and supporting Cisco SD‑WAN technologies
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco Viptela SD‑WAN (vManage, vBond, vSmart)
- Hands‑on experience with Fortinet SD‑WAN
- Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching
- Required protocol experience: BGP, OSPF
- Experience with DMVPN (preferred)
- Solid understanding of overlay/underlay network design and WAN/MPLS environments
- Ability to support occasional after‑hours work as needed while maintaining a 40‑hour work week
- Preferred:
Exposure to Meraki SD‑WAN is beneficial but not required - Preferred:
Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify Yaskawa robot programs based on project specs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production for system integration.
- Perform system testing and validation.
- Provide technical support and training to team members.
- Maintain documentation for robotic systems and programming changes.
