Structural Coordinator / EIT – Vertical

Position . The Structural Coordinator will design and support structural engineering projects for data center builds, retrofits, colocations, and water bearing structures for local municipalities.

• Design buildings for Data Centers including new builds, retrofits and colocations.
• Design buildings for support of water bearing structures for local municipalities.
• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standards, techniques, and procedures.
• Give direction to clerical or technical personnel as needed.
• Assist senior staff on site visits to evaluate field conditions.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of construction and structural systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar commercial design software systems.
• Previous design experience (internship or full‑time work experience) is a plus.
• Ability to design in steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and other industry‑relevant design codes and standards.
• Understanding of gravity and lateral analysis of structural systems.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will be titled “Coordinator” and are expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Local candidates preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
