Advocacy Trust is looking for an experienced, client service focused Special Needs Trust Officer II to join the team. As a Trust Officer II, you will be responsible for providing trust services, building, and maintaining client and partner relationships, and providing exceptional client service. Our Trust Officers works closely with the planning teams to support the Client’s needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others, detail oriented, proactive, and can use sound judgement.
EssentialFunctions

- Manage Client relationships and provide trust administration services.
- Implement Trust plan based on legal documents and client needs and goals.
- Coordinate with internal and external clients to ensure effective Trust implementation and administration.
- Provide and document responsive and proactive client interactions to provide an excellent Client experience.
- Oversee new accounts set-up and correspondence.
- Oversee the investment and management of all trust assets; including annuities and real estate.
- Review and monitor daily account activity.
- Review and approve payment submissions and distributions.
- Perform annual trust account reviews.
- Review fees for accuracy.
- Mentor and coach the trust administrator by ensuring a high level of accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience in Trust Administration.
- Juris Doctor and/or CTFA with experience in the Special Needs Field preferred.
- Knowledge of a variety of Trust concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate when needed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Less than 5% of the time, but occasional travel is necessary.
